Stand up tall, especially in the hips. Let your shoulders relax, keep your elbows at 90 degrees and swing your arms straight front to back, not across your body. Keep your feet dorsi-flexed, do not point your toes down. If you are running fast have your feet contact the ground only slightly in front of you coming rearward at the speed you are moving forward in a pawing motion. You will land on the balls of your feet and push off the front. Running is a pushing motion not a pulling motion. The stride is lengthened behind you not in front of you. Breath in deep, full breaths, do not worry about how you breath in or out or how many steps between breaths just take in the air you need. Try to stay relaxed. If you tense up you will cause your body to tighten up and you will slow down. You should feel like you are floating. Start off easy and gradually build up until you are running at top speed in about 40 to 60 meters. It is a feeling, once you are at top speed you can maintain that speed by relaxing and keeping yourself rolling. Imagine that you are a giant beach ball. Once you manage to get it rolling it only takes a small push from time to time to keep it rolling, and running is kind of like that.
